Kolkata (West Bengal), June 17 (ANI): The West Bengal Police on Saturday said that it will proceed legally to control the prevailing situation in Darjeeling. Additional Director General (Law and Order), Anuj Sharma, confirmed that several policemen have sustained injuries during the clash. He added that one senior Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) has also suffered injuries. Crisis in the hill town still continues as the protestors are turning violent and remain adamant on their demand of a new state of 'Gorkhaland.' Earlier, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee held a meeting with members of Darjeeling Development Boards, Anuj Sharma and other senior officials of the state.
