Ambala (Haryana), June 20 (ANI): Policemen and electricity department vigilance team were allegedly beaten by locals of Haryana's Shivpuri colony in Ambala district on Monday. The incident took place when policemen accompanied with electricity department vigilance team raided people's house on complaints of power theft. When officials stopped locals for stealing electricity they allegedly started beating the cops and electricity officials. The whole incident was captured on camera. Throwing light on the incident Mahesh Nagar Station House Officer (SHO) Subhash said that complaint has been filed against those who assaulted the officers and an investigation will be done.
